Bistro Swiss Burger
A burger with Swiss cheese and Dijon mustard, served on ciabatta rolls for a gourmet taste.

Approximately 1 lb ground chuck
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 large sweet onion, cut into 4 slices
Cooking spray
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 T Dijon-style mustard
4 sesame buns or ciabatta rolls, split and toasted
8 slices Swiss cheese
4 romaine lettuce leaves
4 slices tomato
Preheat grill to medium-high.
Shape ground beef into eight thin patties, season with salt and pepper and place on grill.
Spray onion slices with cooking spray and place on grill around patties.
Grill patties, uncovered, for 13 to 15 minutes, turning once, until beef reaches an internal temperature of 160° F on a meat thermometer.
Grill onions, turning occasionally, until slices are tender.
In the meantime, mix mayo and mustard; spread on buns.
Top each burger with a cheese slice; continue grilling until cheese begins to melt.
Assemble burger using two patties, lettuce and tomatoes.
