Lazy Beef Lasagna

Perfect for a busy night, this easy lasagna uses ravioli to cut down on cook time.

Ingredients

1-1/2 lbs ground sirloin
1 T minced garlic
1 jar (26 oz) prepared pasta sauce or marinara sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
1 pkg (20 to 25 oz) refrigerated or frozen cheese ravioli

Directions

Preheat oven to 400° F.

Brown ground beef with garlic in large nonstick skillet over medium heat until internal temperature of beef reaches 160° F on a meat thermometer. Drain.

Stir in sauce and 1-1/2 cups water; bring to a boil.

Cook and stir for 2 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Layer ravioli, beef mixture and cheese, half at a time, in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.

Cover and bake for 15 minutes (20 minutes for frozen ravioli).

Uncover.

Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and pasta is tender.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
