Texas Stew
Traditional stew made with chili beans, corn and tomatoes for a taste of Texas flair.
Traditional stew made with chili beans, corn and tomatoes for a taste of Texas flair.
Approximately 1 lb 93/7 lean ground beef
1 can (10 oz) Italian-style diced tomatoes
1 can (16 oz) chili beans
1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn, undrained
1 can (19 oz) minestrone soup
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cornbread or dinner rolls
Brown ground beef in a large stockpot over medium heat until internal temperature reaches 160° F on a meat thermometer. Drain.
In the stockpot, mix in diced tomatoes, chili beans, corn and minestrone soup.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cover and simmer for 15 to 30 minutes.
Serve with cornbread or dinner rolls.
